About L'elisir d'amore
Aşk İksiri, İtalyan besteci Gaetano Donizetti tarafından hazırlanmış melodrama giocassa janrında iki perdelik bir operadır. Eserin librettosu İtalyanca olarak Daniel-François-Esprit Auber'in Le philtre adlı oyunundan uyarlanarak Eugène Scribe'in hazırladığı librettodan esinlenerek "Felice Romani" tarafından yazılmıştır. Operanın prömiyer sahnelenmesi 12 Mayıs 1832de Milano'da "Teatro della Canobbiana" tiyatrosunda yapılmıştır.
